The team at GenesisTEK would like to welcome you to our design firm! Our team has a combined experience level of over 56 years as designers with 22 of those being in solid modeling. We have been putting this experience to use producing quality solid models for the markets of consumer product design, medical devices, to industrial plastic housing packaging.
So you have an idea... or already have artwork completed, or you have a current product that needs changing. Whatever your needs are in product design, no matter the product, we can help. Using Solidworks Professional as our 3D cad software of choice, we can sculpt just about any shape.
GenesisTEK offers a very competitive fee structure in today's market. Our team delivers high quality designs at a sensible price. We estimate our projects at a fixed price, subject to any major design changes, prior to the start of any project. Our estimates are based upon part geometry, whether it be simplistic or complex, it is solely based upon how many features it takes to model in cad. Our fee structure varies from project to project, however we typically ask for a startup fee of one half of the total cost of the project. When we have completed your first review files we will schedule a review meeting to discuss the design and make the appropriate changes, if any. Once the design is finalized we will submit final review files along with our final invoice for the second half of our fee. Upon final payment we can, if you so desire, submit the required files to the vendor(s) of your choice that will enable you and the vendor to complete the mold. Included in our bid are any adjustments that may be required to the file(s) and/or model(s) to facilitate in the making of the mold.
Our closing design packet will contain the following items:
- Folder containing all the native Solidworks files
- Folders containing all vendor related files for molding or prototyping (IGES, STEP, STL, etc)
- Folders containing all pertinent windows viewable files (E-Drawing, PDF, JPEG, etc.)
- Including any additional files that are pertinent to the full documentation of the project
